CAFO Planning

Several of the Certified Crop Advisors on staff are certified by New York State to write Comprehensive Nutrient Management Plans. The CNMP is necessary to meet a farm’s CAFO Permit requirements and NRCS requirements. Cropland nutrient management and field conservation planning is developed through the use of New York State nitrogen and phosphorous indexes. Farmstead assessment and design is planned to withstand a 25 year 24 hour storm event.

The professional staff work with each farm individually and maintain strict confidentiality in regards to all information obtained.
